Living
Parzival provides individuals the opportunity to live in settings integrated in the wider community, currently in the town of Phoenixville. Homes are often within walking distance of the town’s center.
Community homes consist of two to three people who are supported by our wonderful staff who work in block shifts throughout the week. The small size of these households, as well as their proximity to workplaces and community resources, make this lifestyle an option that affords numerous opportunities for independence and community integration.
Individuals who live in homes in the community may apply their funding for residential services in these homes. All homes are licensed by the Office of Developmental Programs.
Learning
In addition to being supported in their homes, individuals are supported to access their communities, volunteer and job opportunities, and activities of their choice. People are encouraged and supported to live their lives in ways that make them feel fulfilled.
We walk alongside people to ensure everyone receives individualized supports, both where they live and within the community, to open the door for meaningful connections and engagement.
Parzival’s Direct Support Professionals are trained interchangeably to support people both in their homes and in the community.

Phoenixville
Most of our homes are located in the borough of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. Phoenixville is a beautiful and quiet town with a plethora of small businesses, festivals, and workshops for individuals to participate in and build community through. Parzival partners with numerous businesses to help those we support get jobs and learn new skills to help them lead more fulfilling lives. There are also various trails along the Schuylkill river that are perfect for all types of outdoor recreation.
